Artistic diversion and video games' offbeat reading

This installation is a diversion of the mythic game console Vectrex and it’s famous game MineStorm.
Try to control it and you will be surprised by graphic effects on the screen…
What happens when some artists decide to “tune” two wheelbarrows and a bench? Chromium-plated, lowered and fitted out with translucent neon tubes and 1kw sound-system, the wheelbarrows stroll about the Maison de La Villette and spread powerful bass sounds.
This "attraction" is built with a Nintendo NES and a modified controller. The main idea is to confront an old videogame with a new kind of gameplay. The physical implication constrain the gamer to manipulate the arcade, the game become a sort of choreography.

The Cuicuibox is a cube made of cardboard in which three performers featuring an intense and intimate punk rock concerts of 30 minutes. Until 37 people!
The interactive installation Cass-Brik-Tekno invites you to break bricks with punk, metal or techno sounds. It takes back into a sculptural way the form of arcade terminals of the 90’s and diverts the famous game Tetris on Gameboy.

Hyper Olympic is a device to play the arcade Konami “Track and Field” game. Simulation of the olympic 100 m, this game especially recalls to the old gamers an intensive use of the joystick. Substituting the joystick for a feet interface, Hyper Olympic seeks to intensify the physical experiment and to take the player in an increasingly frantic rhythm.
